Prior to 2022, Q30 Innovations had been utilizing three separate websites to promote the innovative Q-Collar, and their efforts to reduce the severity of concussions. To help hone their message, refine their visual identity, and to make sure they accurately portrayed the story of the product and research backing Q-Collar with members of the media, they tapped Gunpowder ahead of a busy sports season in which over 15 NFL players intended to wear it.

Gunpowder strategically audited and restructured content between Q30 Innovations' three existing websites to create an partnered with a skilled development firm to build a redesigned, robust one-stop-shop for access to the detailed research backing the Q-Collar, as well as a seamless e-commerce Shopify-based shopping experience for both athletes and members of the military.

Over 15 high-profile athletes intended to wear the Q-Collar during the 2022 NFL and college football seasons, so audiences everywhere began asking questions about what it is and how it works. So the Gunpowder Public Relations team kicked things into gear by securing quality coverage and placements of the product across national sports radio broadcasts, local blogs and podcasts with heavy reach and social channels that focused on markets with players wearing the Collar. These placements captured the truth behind the complicated nature of concussions and how to reduce their severity.
